On April 7, 2013 the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and the Kansas City Board of Trade (KCBOT) made a change in their trading hours. Fowler Equity will buy grain during business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. During the period where the markets are closed a maximum of 500 bushels can be sold. For grain quantities over 500 bushels, orders can be placed and if they get filled during trading hours your grain will be priced. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

A product that I believe we are over looking is UN1240D. This is a product that contains 12N-40P-7S-1Z. All of this is melted into a nice uniform peril. It contains most of the elements corn and wheat needs to get off to a good start. Having an all one peril allows the plant not to have to search as far for the nutrients to get it off to a good start. For more information give us a call at the Coop.
If you are considering contracting farm diesel this is the time of year to think about it. Prices are changing daily. December seems to be the prime time to contract. Please contact Randy for daily quotes and contract information!!!!
